2006 has been the last year in which I was somehow still recovering from the accident I had in Teolo, PD in 2004.
Feelings began to come back and, although results were not as good as they used to be, I was building up confidence again.
Despite an extremely disappointing 17th place at the FIRS world championships, held on my favourite course, in Teolo, PD, I felt I was coming back.
I had the same feelings I used to have before the accident, in Lyon, on the demanding La Montée de L'Observance Course.
Despite the 21st place, my time of 2'16" meant I had dominated the course and it did not beat me up. I was ready to fight back in 2007.
